2007 JO TEAM & INDIVIDUAL PLAYER REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Arizona ASA encourages all Junior Olympic Girl's fast-pitch teams to register ASA. All team managers should guarantee their players are provided individual accident insurance. Arizona ASA strongly supports the ASA National Insurance Agency, Bollinger . Consult with an Arizona ASA JO Commissioner to explore options available. Traveling teams in both Class A & B will benefit by purchasing Individual Player Accident Coverage. Teams may elect to purchase one of three "deductibles" offered. Arizona ASA recommends the "Zero" deductible plan.

Recreational Teams can either purchase Individual Player Insurance or Team Insurance. Recreational teams not purchasing individual insurance can contact Bollinger on-line, with State Commissioner approval. Team Accident rates will be made available. All teams must be registered ASA in order to purchase ASA Bollinger Insurance. Team registration is $20.00. Unless approved by the State Commissioner, ASA registered teams must be a member of an ASA League, comprised of 4 or more teams.

When teams obtain Bollinger Insurance, their team is still covered against bodily injury, even when they compete in non-ASA sanctioned tournaments. Only ASA provides this insurance.

For only $22.00 per calendar year, each ASA team member, covered by the Individual Registration, Zero deductible Bollinger plan, will be adequately protected in the event of injury, and they will receive Player ID Cards. When competing in Arizona ASA sanctioned Invitational, State, Regional, National Qualifying, and National Championship Play, teams must provide Tournament Directors with proof of player eligibility. Individual Player ID's guarantee "Fair Play".
